In August 7 2025, Oroki Crystals Club organized a extensive medical outreach program that provided free healthcare services to hundreds of residents in the Osogbo community. The initiative offered health screenings, medical consultations, and free medications to address common health challenges faced by community members.

The program featured volunteer healthcare professionals from within the club's membership, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists who donated their time and expertise. Services included blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, malaria testing, vision screenings, and general medical consultations.

"Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, and we're committed to bridging gaps where they exist," said Crystal Pharm. Ropo Ogunwale, Publicity Secretary of the club. "This outreach is about bringing healthcare to the people who need it most."

In addition to medical services, the program included health education sessions on topics such as hygiene practices, nutrition, disease prevention, and management of common conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Participants received educational materials to help them maintain healthier lifestyles.

The medical outreach represents the club's ongoing commitment to addressing pressing community needs. Plans are already underway for future health initiatives, including specialized clinics and partnerships with healthcare institutions to expand the scope and impact of these services.

The Oroki Crystals Club recently organized a highly successful educational quiz competition that brought together nine secondary schools from across Osogbo. The event, which received official approval from the Osun State Ministry of Education, was held at the prestigious Ataoja School of Science.

After several rounds of intense competition, Osogbo Grammar School emerged victorious, with Saint Charles Grammar School and Ansar-Deen Grammar School taking second and third places respectively. The winners were awarded comprehensive scholarships that will cover their WAEC, NECO, JAMB examinations, and even university tuition fees.

"This initiative aligns perfectly with our club's commitment to educational support and intellectual growth," said Crystal Adewale Daodu, General Secretary of Oroki Crystals Club. "We believe that investing in education is investing in the future of our community."

The quiz competition, which took place between October and November 2024, was designed to promote academic excellence and healthy competition among students. Questions covered various subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Sciences, and Current Affairs.

Parents and teachers praised the initiative, noting that such programs motivate students to take their studies more seriously. The club has announced plans to make this an annual event, with even more schools expected to participate in next year's competition.

The Omoriyeba Grant initiative, launched in July 2024, has successfully empowered a widowed woman in Iragbiji to start her own foodstuff retail business. The beneficiary received a grant of ₦237,000 along with a fully equipped shop space to help her establish a sustainable source of income.

This initiative is part of Oroki Crystals Club's broader commitment to social responsibility and community empowerment. The program specifically targets individuals facing economic hardships, particularly widows who often struggle to provide for their families after the loss of a spouse.

"We believe in creating opportunities for those who need them most," said Crystal Engr. Salami Abiodun Olalekan, Treasurer of the club. "This grant isn't just about financial assistance—it's about restoring dignity and enabling self-sufficiency."

The selection process for the grant involved a thorough assessment of applicants' needs, proposed business plans, and potential for sustainability. The recipient underwent basic business management training provided by club members with expertise in entrepreneurship and finance.

The Omoriyeba Grant program represents just one of several community development initiatives planned by the club for 2024-2025. Future projects will continue to focus on creating sustainable economic opportunities for vulnerable members of the community.

December 23, 2023, marked a historic moment for Oroki Crystals Club as members gathered in Osogbo for their inaugural physical meeting. The event brought together club members from across Nigeria, with virtual participation from members based in the United Kingdom and Canada.

The meeting served as an opportunity to solidify the club's mission and values, with members reaffirming their commitment to "contributing to society while growing ourselves." Attendees participated in strategic planning sessions to outline the club's philanthropic and community development initiatives for the coming year.
